SMS Messaging Program

Who receives these messages

Only current DPZ Kootenays employees receive text messages from this program: specifically, employees who have chosen text-message sign-in in the DPZK Team app and provided their own mobile number.

How consent is given

An employee opts in at dpzcanada.ca/messaging/opt-in/, by entering their own mobile number and their work email address and ticking a consent box that is not ticked for them. The wording of that box, the date and time, and the address the form was sent from are recorded with the consent. This is optional: sign-in by work email remains available at all times, and choosing text-message sign-in is never a condition of employment.

Text-message sign-in is not switched on yet, so no code is being sent by text today. Consent is being collected first.

What you will receive

Messages are one-time sign-in codes only. They are transactional, not promotional, and never contain a link. A production example:

No marketing messages

DPZ Kootenays Ltd. does not send promotional or marketing text messages through this program. Every message is a sign-in code and nothing else.

Message frequency

You receive a message only when you request a sign-in code by choosing text-message sign-in in the DPZK Team app. There is no other schedule or frequency.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages; you can still sign in with your work email at any time. Reply HELP for help.
